Gravitorium Pro Version History

27 January 2003:

Version 1.2.0:

Added:

  • Ability to exaggerate the apparent diameter of bodies in order to produce a more interesting (though less accurate) display.
  • Text box to adjust lag of trails for objects. Objects large enough to be displayed as visible circles often overwrite the trail dots. Adjusting the lag means that the orbit trail remains visible.
  • Now prompts for rescale after adding or deleting bodies (previously it just automatically did it).
  • In New Body Wizard, masses and distances for standard objects shown explicitly and may be modified.

Fixed:

  • Fixed a number of bugs to do with changing the object on which the display is centred.
  • Fixed run-time error bug with certain kinds of object in New Body Wizard
  • Resize now triggers re-display correctly
  • Elapsed day number is now preserved on system save, specifically during recording.
  • Stopped automatic redraw after applying Delta-V to an object.
  • Fixed divide by zero bug when getting status for sole object in system.
  • Updated help file and created menu for sample files.

13 January 2003:

Version 1.1.0:

Added:

  • Added calculation of period, max min distance to status reports (will only appear if at least half a full orbit has been completed).
  • Trace function now dumps position data on object to tab-delimited text file, for import into Excel or other program.
  • Automated image capture during recording.
  • If viewing only one plane, so info window is hidden, info and reports now pop up as message boxes.

Fixed:

  • Bug preventing change of object parent body in "Modify System".
  • Several minor bug fixes.

7 September 2002:
