Where can I find his books?

Apart from "The Moonstone" and "The Woman in White", which seem always to have remained in print, until very recently it was quite hard to locate works by Collins. However, over the last five years or so many publishers have begun re-issuing his books, notably Alan Sutton Publishing in the UK, who published a large number of Collins' works in paperback. Alas, Alan Sutton now seems to have dropped this line of books, but you may still be able to find copies second-hand. The more popular works are still available in paperback from a number of other sources, particularly The World's Classics. Oxford University Press and Dover Publishing have also published some of the less obscure Collins' titles.

The best place to look for Collins' works still in print is (in my humble opinion), Amazon.com. "Collins" is too common a name, so I generally use "Wilkie" in the search.

The only other option, of course, is second-hand copies. There are some good sources for second-hand books on the web, and although I am a little reluctant to give away the secret (I'm still trying to complete my own set of Collins' works!), one of the best is the Advanced Book Exchange
